Jenya Urikas

Acting High Priest of The Church of Helm

Description:

Female human cleric.

Jenya is acting High Priest of Helm while Sarcem Delasharn has been killed in the Lucky Monkey during the flood festival.

Jenya made a public proclamation that the Church of St. Cuthbert would find the children recently kidnapped from the Lantern Street Orphanage.

She used the church’s holy relic, The Star of Justice, to commune with Helm on the matter and the reply was cryptic: “The locks are key to finding them. Look beyond the curtain, below the cauldron. Beware the doors with teeth. Descend into the malachite’ hold, where precious life is bought with gold. Half a dwarf bind them, but not for long.”

Jenya then hired the Moonhowlers to follow up on the message and find the children.

Jenya was present during the trial of the Last Laugh thugs who attacked Ruphus Laro. She was also present at the trial of Khegan Ghelve.

Bio:

Jenya is acting High Priest of St. Cuthbert while Sarcem Delasharn is away in Sasserine for a conclave.

Jenya made a public proclamation that the Church of St. Cuthbert would find the children recently kidnapped from the Lantern Street Orphanage.

She used the church’s holy relic, The Star of Justice, to commune with St. Cuthbert on the matter and the reply was cryptic: “The locks are key to finding them. Look beyond the curtain, below the cauldron. Beware the doors with teeth. Descend into the malachite’ hold, where precious life is bought with gold. Half a dwarf bind them, but not for long.”

Jenya then hired the Moonhowlers to follow up on the message and find the children.

Jenya sent for the party during the Flood Festival, telling them that the temple’s high priest, Content Not Found: sarcem-delasharn, had gone to Sasserine to procure wands of control water, but had come under attack at The Lucky Monkey Inn.

Jenya is a handsome woman, 30 years old with brown eyes and premature streaks of gray in her rich brown hair, which she tends to weark in various elaborate styles. She wears a brown robe with golden trim and the symbol of St. Cuthbert around her neck. Although she stands only 5’4” tall, she walks tall and confronts evil with merciless resolve.

Her good nature belies her fierce convictions, and she freely supports capital punishment for despicable crimes. Since taking on the mantle of high priestess, Jenya has become less approachable. Of course, her relationship with the Silver Phoenix Adventuring Company remains strong because of their successful retrieval of most of the wands of water control that were stolen during the Flood Festival. She dismisses the rumors regarding Kort’s “curse” and the revolving door roster that seemed to plague the company a couple of months before. She counts deeds more than words.
